Arg-e Jadid Telecommunication Services Co.

Arg Jadid Telecommunication Services Company was established in 2002 as one of the affiliated companies of the Arg Jadid Special Economic Zone, through the efforts of a group of telecommunications industry specialists. In order to meet the telecommunication needs of the national communications sector and to transfer and localize new technologies, the company established its own manufacturing plant in 2012.

In 2017, with the aim of expanding its production activities, the company began research and studies in the field of medical equipment. Subsequently, in 2018, the first medical device produced by this group—the AVAN blood glucose meter—was manufactured and introduced in order to obtain the required regulatory approvals. In the spring of 2019, the company successfully obtained an independent manufacturing license for the production of blood glucose meters, as well as the distribution and sales permit from the General Department of Medical Equipment.

Through these achievements, the company seeks to fulfill its mission of enhancing public health and awareness, while also pursuing product exportation with a competitive and industry-development-oriented approach.
